WHAT IT DOES

Adds the cams and electrical switches used to command the supported forward shift-solenoid circuits as the Winters lever moves. Mechanical range selection remains the job of the shifter and cable.

WHAT ELSE YOU NEED

A compatible Winters / Art Carr shifter and a verified transmission application. Torque converter lockup is separate. Selectable factory automatic operation requires a functioning TCM and the appropriate separate automatic/manual switch arrangement.

BEFORE YOU ORDER

The documented AW4/A340 kit does not fit the modified Rock Gate shift pattern. Confirm your shifter, transmission and harness revision before installation.

KIT & SETUP DETAILS
The RAD control conversion components for a compatible existing Winters-style shifter. A complete Winters shifter is not included. Use the product-specific installation guide for the supplied cams, switches and brackets.
Is this a complete new shifter?
No. Choose this kit when you already have a compatible Winters / Art Carr shifter and want its lever movement to command the supported electronic forward gears. Compare VX with Control Kit if you need a complete integrated floor-shifter assembly.
